Art Student, Painter, Installation and visual artist
I am a practicing artist, and student living and working in the northeast of England. I am currently working towards getting my BA Hons Degree in Fine Art as an undergraduate, with hopes to go to get my PCGE and then onto a master’s in art’s Practice. I have a range of diverse experience in working across different fields of interest from photography to painting and installation, to being a teaching assistant.

Employment/Professional Experience
September 2022 - Present - Student Ambassador - The Northern School of Art, Hartlepool
I have assisted with open days/ tours. As well as covering reception when there have been staff shortages.

October 2022-January 2023 - Assisting and Modelling for Artist Michaela Zimmer - Platform A, Middlesbrough.
I modeled her wearable art pieces for her to take photographs which were presented in her exhibition in Platform A called ‘On Going’. I have worked with her on several occasions.

June 2022 - Present - Member of Perspective in Art and Design - The Northern School of Art, Hartlepool.
As a member of Perspective in Art and Design which is an academic group which organise events such as conferences and involve people from all courses of the university. We are then involved in the write up of the event or anything we wish to write about such as an exhibition we went to see or out own practices, and then the articles are published as part of the Perspectives in Art and Design article.

June 2022 - July 2022- Volunteer Teaching Assistant - James Calvert Spence College, Northumberland.
I worked alongside several teachers and year groups from year 6 to 12, in fine art and Design Technology. I assisted in lessons as well as giving one to one tutorial with those in a level or gcse. I was also permitted to work on my own art whilst I was there as a teaching experience for the students so that they would watch me work and ask questions. I also worked alongside the Baltic galleries ‘Art in A Bus’ programme as they visited the school for 2 days.

March 2022- Present Member of Scholarly Activity Research Development Group - The Northern School of Art, Hartlepool.
As a member my role is varied between being of the lead organisers, which involved working with a number of different staff and students across the University in organising different themed conference days, which facilitated talks, performances, and exhibitions. All of which was open to the public. I am also part of the lead curatorial team, I have curated exhibitions as part of a team and solo, whether it was my own work or another artist.

March 2022 - Casting and Location Assistant and Photography Assistant - Alice Hawkins in Hartlepool- Hartlepool art gallery
Assisted with the casting of individuals for the Tees Valley Museum funded 'The Female Gaze: Revisited' project, which concluded with 10 photography commissions for the permanent collection of Hartlepool Art Gallery which depicts the contemporary character of Hartlepool and the people who live there. This comprised of working to Alice's brief and aesthetic to ensure effective casting of subjects and 100 interesting locations to shoot. This was then pitched to Alice to decide upon the final ten outcomes as part of a two-day location shoot in Hartlepool. I assisted Alice to get the appropriate lighting, dealing with props, styling the cast, and ensuring that the cast was available at appropriate times for shoots.

worked on a portrait to commemorate the Late former civic mayor Brenda Lloynes.

Painting was used as the front cover for the Northern School of Art prospectus and used as promotion at UCAS fair events.
